We are seeking a seasoned VIDEO GAME QA manager to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for the overall quality of our games, ensuring all new and existing features are delivered to the players without any issues or bugs.

Responsibilities

  • Create test plans and test cases for all game functionality.

  • Executing test plans and reporting results back to production team.

  • Design a “greenlight” process for submissions.

  • Manage bug database in JIRA.

  • Testing releases on iOS and Android devices.

  • Working with teams to ensure QA best practices are being adopted company wide.

  • Identify automated testing requirements and work with production team to implement.

  • Monitor customer feedback channels to actively identify and escalate service issues.

Requirements

  • 3+ years or more of VIDEO GAME INDUSTRY QA experience MUST HAVE.

  • Solid understanding of creating test plans for free to play games.

  • Ability to hire and mentor other game testers.

  • Understanding of the QA process for games.

  • Attention to detail, ability to consider and test all possible use-cases.

  • Highly organized, be able to design, execute and report test plans.

  • Knowledge of industry QA best-practices for games.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Already familiar with one or more of our games.

  • Worked with Unity, JIRA and/or Slack in the past.

  • Familiar with agile methodology.
